OTOPE Leads the Way: Hon Chief Oladimeji Attends High-profile Events in Lagos and Ibadan(Photos)
Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, also known as OTOPE, had a busy weekend attending high-profile events in Lagos and Ibadan. As a respected leader and Director-General of the Liaison Office for Abuja and Lagos, OTOPE’s presence was felt at various ceremonies, where he paid tributes, offered condolences, and celebrated with friends, associates, and community leaders.
On Friday 13th December, 2024, Dr. OTOPE was at the burial ceremony of Barrister Bayo Lawal’s wife at Lekki, Lagos, where he joined other dignitaries in paying their respects to the deceased and offering condolences to the bereaved family. Later that day, he attended the burial ceremony of Hon. Seye Gbaroye’s in-law’s mother at LTV8 Premises, Ikeja, Lagos. The event was a celebration of the life and legacy of the matriarch, with friends and associates in attendance.

The next day (Saturday 14th December, 2024), Dr. OTOPE traveled to Ibadan to attend the burial ceremony of Hon. Onimalu Folarin’s father at Ibadan North Local Government. He was among the dignitaries who paid their respects to the deceased and offered condolences to the family.
Finally, Dr. OTOPE returned to his local government, Ona-Ara, to attend the turbaning ceremony of the new Chief Imam, Sheikh Tirimisiyu Ahmoda Rufai, held at the council secretariat, Akanran. The ceremony was performed by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Fadilat Sheikh Abdul Ganiyy Abubakakri Agbotomokekere, and was attended by other dignitaries, including Alhaji Kola Bolomope, Rt. Hon Abiodun Muhammed Fadeyi, Hon Hakeem Taiwo Oke and the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Dr. Kolapo Temitope-GLORIOUS as well as the immediate past chairman of the Council, Hon. Adesina Musibau-SHABA among others.
Dr. OTOPE wished the new Chief Imam a reign filled with peace and blessings for Ona-Ara and Ibadan as a whole. His presence at these events demonstrated his commitment to his community and his role as a leader and respected figure in the society.
