Senator Monday Okphebholo has officially been sworn-in as the Governor of Edo State.
Egalitarian Voice reports that Dennis Idahosa was also sworn-in as the Deputy Governor of the State.
Recalls that Okpebholo emergence came after his victory in the September 21, 2024 governorship election in the state, having defeated his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Asue Ighodalo.
Okpebholo becomes the fifth governor of the state since the Fourth Republic commenced in 1999.
The ceremony was attended by some dignitaries including the Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo among others.
