Born on July 28th into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Oluwole Obisesan, Engr. Funmi Obisesan’s educational background is as impressive as her philanthropic endeavors. The genesis of FODEI dates back to 2018 when Engr. Obisesan encountered a girl wandering aimlessly during school hours. Over the years, FODEI has made a significant impact in the community, providing potable water, food items, tutorial and free coaching for students, sponsoring vocational training, organizing essay competitions, and empowering school pupils, among other initiatives.
One of the most fulfilling moments for Engr. Obisesan was when a first-class graduate approached her, attributing his success in UTME to her free lesson coaching. This heartwarming encounter reinforces her dedication to community service and the significance of her work.
Engr. Obisesan’s recent engagement as a guest lecturer on Fire Safety and Cholera Outbreak Awareness, organized by Ona-Ara Local government, Oyo State, further underscores her expertise and commitment to health and safety awareness.
