IFE Foundation doles out free JAMB forms to Over 55 Students in Ona-Ara LG   

…..Says ‘Education is not a Scam’

The Innovation For Empowerment (IFE) has distributed free JAMB forms to over 55 students in Ona-Ara local government.

The students were drawn from all the Eleven (11) wards in Ona-Ara local government that participated in the annual Jamb Scholarship support conducted to select the best candidates in the area.

Addressing EGALITARIAN VOICE MEDIA correspondent on Friday in Ibadan, the Foundation President, Hon. (Arc) Akande Ifeoluwa, popularly known with the moniker, IFE ONA-ARA, said the Jamb scholarship award was held at Shalom Heritage School Hall, Ariyo Bus-stop in Ona-Ara Local Government on 26th of January, 2024.

He pointed out that the purpose of the intervention was to give the students the sufficient opportunity to secure a promising future as leaders of tomorrow.

Akande restated that the philanthropic gesture is to leave no stone unturned in educating the future leaders of Ona-Ara Local Government Area with the requisite qualifications to enable them to improve their academic excellence.

Oyo State PDP youth leader, Hon Micheal Ogunsina and Hon Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS charged the beneficiaries to be mindful of their future because Education is not a scam. The future matters alot.

The beneficiaries lauded the gesture, reiterated how timely the gesture was and how it will bring about hope for hopeless and build their confidence for future ahead.

“W(e) sincerely appreciate IFE Foundation for this timely show of love on us. This rare gesture is timely and consequential for all deserving students in Ona-Ara local government.”

The dignitaries in attendance were; Oyo State Deputy Speaker represented by Hon Adetunji Abiona, PDP Ona-Ara party Chairman, Hon Mosobalaje Bakare, Alh. Adurodekun, Alh Isiaq Arinola, Alh Kehinde Adeyemo, Oyo PDP Youth Leader, Hon Micheal Ogunsina, Hon Taiwo Akeem Oke, Hon Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS (PDP Chairmanship Candidate), Deacon Biodun Adegoke, Hon Balogun Nurudeen, Wards Chairmen, School Proprietors and other notable party leaders.
