The AGM through Her national Chairperson, Hon. (Mrs) Bolanle Sarumi Aliyu have expressed their gratitude for the recognition by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). According to her it was a rare fit for the AGM to have come this far.
Recall that in preparation for the November 2023 gubernatorial elections in Kogi and Imo State, 32 Aspirants of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have been appointed as members in the National Campaign Council for distinguished Senator Dino Melaye and Sen. Sam Anyanwu’s Elections in Imo and Kogi States respectively.
According to the information made available to the newsmen, the appointed aspirants are from the socio-political group named ATIKULATED GLOBAL MOVEMENT(AGM), under the leadership of the group National Chairperson, Hon (Mrs) Bolanle Sarumi Aliyu GCMW/VHPP politically addressed as BASA.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of the group appreciates the National Executives of PDP, the Chairman of the Campaign Council H.E Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke and the PDP Gubernatorial candidates for Kogi and Imo state, for recognising the PDP aspirants and believing in their strength to mobilise voters massively, in favour of the party in the coming election across Kogi and Imo state. And thanks to Senator Sam Anyanwu and H.E. Dino Melaye for appointing our member into Imo and Kogi campaign councils.
“I repeat, We are deeply grateful to the National Executives of our great party PDP, for this recognition given to our members.
This is the first in history when the party and a Governorship candidate will accommodate aspirants in their numbers, and we in AGM are fully in support of Senator Dino Melaye and Sen. Sam Anyanwu’s candidacy to be the next Governor of Kogi and Imo State. By the special grace of the Almighty God, victory is ahead,” BASA prayed. We will support, Campaign and canvass votes for victory.
Recall, AGM is a group comprising of all PDP aspirants and some candidates in the recent elections across the thirty-six state and FCT of Nigeria.
