2027: OTOPE Unveils Campaign Structure, Appoints DG, Elders Council for Egbeda/Ona-Ara House of Representatives Bid

The House of Representatives candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has officially unveiled the campaign structure that will drive his grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general election.
The newly constituted campaign structure comprises an Elders Campaign Council, a Main Campaign Team, and an Extension Campaign Network made up of elected councillors across the two local government areas.
Leading the Elders Campaign Council are respected political stakeholders and community leaders, including Hon. Olayemi, Hon. Akin Akinfunlayo, Hon. Ogunremi, Chief Adurodekun, Hon. Soba Bakare, Iya Pineapple, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, and Hon. Temitope Glorious.

The Main Campaign Team will be headed by Hon. Taiwo Oke, who has been appointed as the Director-General (DG) for the Federal Constituency campaign. Other key appointments include Hon. Kabiru KB as Director-General for Egbeda.
Other members of the campaign team include Hon. Tosin Alabi, Deacon Adegbite, Hon. Lekan Bello, Alhaji Muideen Rafiu Ajayi (APM Chairman, Ona-Ara), Hon. Wahab Kolawole Rasaki (APM Chairman, Egbeda), Hon. K.K., Alhaji Luku Akinpelu, Hon. Nuru Akanni, Hon. Adekola Akorede Ismail, Hon. Tunde Yusuf, Hon. Moradeyo Sikiru (M&S), the Egbeda and Ona-Ara Youth Leaders, the Egbeda Women Leader, Hon. Owonikoko, Pastor Lamoyegun, Chief Koye, Hon. Alawe, Alfa Kehinde, Hon. Oladebo “Simple”, Alhaji Liadi Busari, Hon. Windapo, Hon. Ife Akande (Ona-Ara), Hon. Wale Ajala, Alhaja Onikede, and Hon. Ayanniyi.

To strengthen grassroots coordination, OTOPE also approved an Extension Campaign Team, comprising all councillors from Ona-Ara and Egbeda Local Government Areas, with the responsibility of mobilizing support at the ward and community levels.

The unveiling of the campaign teams signals the formal commencement of OTOPE’s political machinery for the 2027 House of Representatives election. Party supporters described the appointments as a strategic move aimed at consolidating the APM’s presence across Egbeda and Ona-Ara while ensuring effective coordination of campaign activities from the grassroots to the constituency level.
The campaign organization expressed confidence that the blend of experienced political leaders, youth representatives, women leaders, party executives, and grassroots mobilizers would strengthen the party’s chances of securing victory in the 2027 National Assembly election.
