Hon. Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye, PhD, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, has congratulated former Oyo State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, on his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate in the primary election held on 24 May 2026.
In a statement issued on Monday, Adekanmbi-Akinseye praised PDP delegates for the conduct of the primary election and urged party members and stakeholders to remain united as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
Reaffirming her commitment to constituency development, she outlined her legislative priorities aimed at improving public welfare and strengthening service delivery across Ibadan North-East and South-East.
She stated that her focus would include expanding access to quality education and vocational training, improving healthcare services, and enhancing environmental sanitation through the provision of modern public toilet facilities. She also pledged to support the installation of solar-powered street lighting across communities to improve security and stimulate local economic activities.
