2027: Arapaja’s Team Begins Massive APC Mobilisation Drive With Strategic Ibadan South East Meeting
It was a family gathering as Hon. Sunday Babatunde, alongside other stakeholders convened a strategic meeting of the Team Arapaja Ibadan South East Local Government, bringing together members from Constituencies I and II.
The meeting, held at St. John’s Primary School, Eleta Academy, was well attended by prominent members of the Team Arapaja as preparations intensify for their official defection to the APC. The gathering also served as an avenue to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governorship ambition of Oloye Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, his Deputy Hon. Adedeji Adesoji, and other APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
In the statement released to the newsmen, Hon. Sunday Babatunde expressed profound appreciation to members of the Arapaja political family for their unwavering loyalty and commitment over the years. He urged them to sustain the mobilisation drive by working tirelessly for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ensuring victory for Oloye Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli as Governor of Oyo State and Hon. Adedeji Adesoji as Deputy Governor, the party’s three senatorial candidates, fourteen House of Representatives candidates, and thirty-two House of Assembly candidates.
Also addressing the gathering, Elder Olayinka Banjo (Bigger) described the meeting as the beginning of a new era of political liberation and progressive governance. He encouraged members of the Team Arapaja to remain focused, united, and resilient, expressing confidence that victory awaits the APC.
Hon. Iyiola Muatairu also commended the unwavering resilience and perseverance of Team Arapaja despite sustained criticism and attacks from political adversaries. He assured members that the path they have chosen is one of victory, urging them to remain steadfast, united, and committed as success lies ahead.

Taofeek Adeshina, Hon. Fadipe, Baba Akinola Tajudeen, Baba Rasaq Popoola,Hon. Olayiwola Sunbo JP, Hon. Iyiola Muatairu, Hon. Muideen Adekola, Alhaja Ageshinkara, Alhaja Sakira Lamidi, Mrs Fidelia; and several other notable party leaders and stakeholders. Members present unanimously reaffirmed their loyalty to the APC and pledged their commitment to delivering victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.
