2027: APC Grassroots Drive Intensifies as ASEJERE Coalition for BSA Launches in Ona-Ara, Unveils Coordinator, Rallies Support and Offers Special Prayers for Sen. Sharafadeen Alli

Political stakeholders, community leaders, youth groups, and supporters gathered in Ona-Ara Local Government for the official inauguration of the ASEJERE Coalition for Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA), a grassroots political movement aimed at mobilizing support for the senator’s 2027 governorship aspiration. The event also featured a special prayer session for Senator Alli and the success of his political journey.

The programme commenced with an opening prayer led by Alfa Wahab Oladipupo, who prayed for peace, unity, and divine direction for the coalition, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, and Nigeria.
Representing Senator Sharafadeen Alli, Chief Abiola Alli described the ASEJERE Coalition as the authentic and officially recognized grassroots support structure for the senator. He formally unveiled the coalition in Ona-Ara Local Government and announced Hon. Kayode Oyeleke (BLISS Farm) as its coordinator.
Chief Alli explained that the coalition was established to deepen grassroots participation and strengthen the political structure ahead of future elections. He also highlighted the importance of local government autonomy as a catalyst for sustainable grassroots development.
In his acceptance remarks, the newly inaugurated Coordinator, Hon. Kayode Oyeleke (BLISS Farm), expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to justify the trust placed in his leadership. He said the coalition would focus on mobilizing widespread grassroots support for Senator Sharafadeen Alli’s governorship ambition ahead of the 2027 Oyo State election.
He urged members and supporters to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) and participate actively in the electoral process, stressing that every vote would be crucial in shaping the future of Oyo State.

Hon. Oyeleke also called on members of the coalition to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and work collectively for the victory of all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in future elections.
Speaking at the event, the National President of the Yoruba Youth Council (YYC), Mogaji Akintunde Rahmon Alawode, encouraged members of the coalition to intensify grassroots mobilization across communities. He also urged eligible voters who had yet to register for their PVCs to take advantage of the ongoing registration process, noting that Hon. Kayode Oyeleke was coordinating efforts to assist interested residents.

Also addressing the gathering, the former Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Ismail Akanni (ERE), emphasized the need for unity, strategic mobilization, and sustained engagement among party faithful to ensure electoral success for the APC in future elections.
A major highlight of the programme was the official presentation of Hon. Kayode Oyeleke (BLISS Farm) as the Coordinator of the ASEJERE Coalition for Barrister Sharafadeen Alli (BSA) in Ona-Ara Local Government.

The inauguration attracted several notable personalities, including Dr. Femi Oyetunji, Chief Olatunji Alli, Alhaji Suleimon Olatunji Alli, Hon. Sodiq Ramoni, the General Chairman of Sawia Landlords Association, representatives of PROTAN, JDS Support Group, Ona-Ara Students’ Union, representatives of Persons with Disabilities in Ona-Ara, Mobolowaduro Landlords/Ladies Association, Engr. Ifeoluwa Oyedeji, Akin Akande (Oluyole ASEJERE Coalition Coordinator), alongside other political stakeholders, youth leaders, and community representatives.

The event concluded with a special prayer for Senator Sharafadeen Alli, seeking divine wisdom, protection, favour, and success as he continues his political consultations ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.
