The Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina, popularly known as SHABA today 1st of May, 2023 bags OMOLUABI ROYAL ICON AWARD as AARE ATUNLUSE OMOLUABI OODUA AGBARA, presented under the Royal Authority of His Imperial Majesty Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, OONI ADEYEYE BABATUNDE ENITAN OGUNWUSI, CFR, Ojaja II, OONI OF IFE ( Along side all other Oba of Yoruba land).
In recognition of his Omoluabi Character, Integrity, Worth, Hardwork and Monumental Contribution towards the development of Yoruba Cultural Heritage and Values as well as his unique style of leadership in governance, most especially among the local government chairmen in Oyo State.
The event took place at the National Theater, Lagos.
Among the awardees are Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos State, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Obasa, and other dignitaries.
In his remarks, Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina appreciates YORUBA COUNCIL WORLDWIDE, Under their President, AARE OBA OMOLUABI OLADOTUN HASSAN and Oyo State Chairman of YORUBA COUNCIL OF YOUTH WORLDWIDE, ASOJU ODO ALAWODE RAMON and the entire members of the council for the recognition, he dedicated the award to good people of Ona-Ara Local Government, both home and diaspora. He promised to continue to support the development of Yoruba Cultural Heritage and Values in Ona-Ara Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. And also continue with the good governance in Ona-Ara Local Government.
Hon. Chief Sanusi Musibau Adesina was flanked by his amiable wife,Hon. Chief Mrs Dasola Sanusi, Hon. Tawaliu Amusat, a leader of PDP in Ona-Ara LGA and Mr. Ojewale Olagoke.
