The Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government on Wednesday, declared its total readiness to commerce the construction of new ultra modern market in the local government areas through Oyo State Rural And Agricultural Marketing Project (OYO STATE RAAMP) immediately all proper documentation is put in place. The chairman disclosed this to Egalitarian Voice media after he held a stakeholders meeting with the representatives of Oyo State RAAMP, Markets leaders and stakeholders.
The National Agrologistics Officer, Mr Busari Bayonle and the coordinator for Oyo State RAAMP, Engr. Mrs Olufunke Ekundayo, who spoke at the Stakeholders’ Sensitization and Advocacy Meeting which held on Wednesday 4th October, 2023 at Aare Alaasa Agbejoda Olounda-Ogunsola said the RAAMP through the support of World Bank is read to finance the developmental project of Aare Alaasa Agbejoda Olounda-Ogunsola market such as Ultra modern market, Potable water, rehabilitation of roads that leads to the market and provision of environmental sanitation guide in the market for personal hygiene of the market men and women.
According to Mr Akingbala Abiodun who is the Chairman of the market, “on behalf of market man move women in Aare Alaasa Agbejoda Olounda-Ogunsola Market, I am happy with the efforts of the Chairman in order to brings more development into Ona-Ara land and betterment of its citizens.
The Oniladuntan of Laduntan, Oba Kamorudeen Adeyemi; Vice chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo Central, Hon Mufutau Ogunremi, Alhaji Waheed Adurodekun, Market leaders; Mr Akingbala Abiodun(Market CHAIRMAN) and Mrs Rafiu (IYALOJA) amongst others on Wednesday lauded the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara LG, Hon Musibau Adesina Sanusi (SHABA) for his commitment towards the development of Ona-Ara local government, Akanran since he toke on mantle as the Executive Chairman of the local government in 2021.
