Valentine’s Day: Makinde’s DCOS, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Bibire Hosts Special Needs Community In Grand Celebration Of Love And Inclusion

In a remarkable demonstration of compassion, inclusiveness, and unwavering love for humanity, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, marked this year’s Valentine’s Day with people living with special needs in Oyo State.

The annual celebration, which has become a signature humanitarian tradition of Hon. Bibire, took place at his residence and drew a mammoth crowd of beneficiaries and well-wishers.

The event brought together persons who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, persons with albinism, individuals with physical disabilities, persons of short stature, and many others, alongside able-bodied guests who joined in the spirit of love and unity.

Far from being a political gathering, the event was a purely humanitarian assembly that attracted people from diverse ethnic, religious, and political backgrounds.

It was a true reflection of love beyond boundaries.

The atmosphere was filled with joy as guests were treated to sumptuous meals, refreshing drinks, engaging games, and heartfelt interactions.

Winners of various games went home with generous monetary gifts, further adding excitement to the day.

More importantly, the gathering provided a platform for participants to share life experiences, strengthen bonds, and celebrate their shared humanity.

In separate remarks, representatives of the special needs community expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Bibire for his consistent kindness and open-hearted leadership.

They described him as a rare political figure whose home remains accessible to them not just on Valentine’s Day, but throughout the year.

According to them, while many public office holders may choose to display affluence, Hon. Bibire has chosen the higher path of touching lives, spreading joy, and practicing inclusive leadership without discrimination.

They showered prayers upon him, asking God to continually guide, protect, and bless him, affirming that only the Almighty can adequately reward his generosity.

In his address, Hon. Bibire thanked the special needs community for their steadfast love and support.

He stated that he sees them as family and holds them dearly in his heart.

Reaffirming his commitment to inclusiveness, he assured them that his home would always remain open and welcoming.

He expressed deep appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the privilege to serve in his administration, describing him as “the people’s governor” whose leadership continues to give hope to persons living with disabilities.

He pledged to continue complementing the Governor’s inclusive governance style.

The Deputy Chief of Staff also seized the occasion to celebrate notable personalities who marked their birthdays on the same day, including Otunba Seye Famojuro, whom he described as a master strategist and distinguished philanthropist used by God to uplift countless lives.

He equally celebrated Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan North Constituency I, commending her for her quality representation and dedication to her constituents.

He prayed for long life, sound health, and greater accomplishments for both celebrants.

Reiterating his philosophy of equality and love, Hon. Bibire declared that all humans are equal before God and deserve special treatment rooted in dignity and compassion.

He promised to sustain the annual February 14th celebration with the special needs community, emphasizing that love and joy must never depart from our homes.

The celebration climaxed with a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony shared with members of the special needs community, signifying unity, equality, and shared happiness.

Hon. Bibire also extended heartfelt appreciation to members of the Bibire Political Movement, describing them as his backbone and a united family committed to extending love to the broader society.

He acknowledged the presence and support of respected leaders including Baba Kola Raufu, Pastor Oderajo, Alhaji Sani, and Leader Adewumi.

The well-attended event also had in attendance hon. Soji Alade, councillors, supervisory councillors, and special assistants from Ibadan North Local Government, further underscoring the broad support for this noble humanitarian initiative.

Indeed, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire’s Valentine’s Day celebration was not just an event it was a powerful statement that love, when genuine, transcends politics and transforms lives.
