The Government of Anambra State under the leadership of Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR., has called on Ndi Anambra who are suitably qualified to make best of the ongoing teachers recruitment exercise and apply to teach in both primary and secondary schools in the state.
The above was made known through a circular signed by the Chairman of the Anambra State Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu and made available to journalists.
The statement read in part, “In line with the manifesto of our dear Governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo CFR on recruiting the most qualified to give school children what he called opportunity equalizer. Post Primary School Service Commission Anambra State calls for online application from eligible individuals who wish to be employed to teach in public secondary schools of the State.”

” The Qualified Individual must possess the following: i. Bachelor in Science, Education, Technology, Engineering, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.Eng, B.Tech,HND. ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate.
iii. First School Living Certificate. iv. Evidence of Age(Birth Certificate). v. TRCN Certificate is an added advantage.
The statement further noted subjects needed to include: English, mathematics, Photography, Garment Making, Upholstery, textile trade, general metal work, mechanical engineering, vehicle body building, Radio, TV and electrical work, motor vehicle mechanical work amongst others.

Professor Ikediugwu further announced through her statement that the closing date of the online application exercise would be on October 14, 2023 and urged the would-be applicants to always check the online portal of the commission for further information.

The governor also approve the recruitment of Primary schools teachers under Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board ( ASUBEB )
