The Nigerian Youth Congress has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment of former Minister Sunday Dare as a Special Adviser, praising the move as a strategic decision to harness Dare’s expertise in youth development and sports.
Sunday Dare, who served as Minister of Youth and Sports from 2019 to 2023, boasts an impressive track record in promoting youth empowerment and sports development in Nigeria. During his tenure, he initiated various programs, including the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund, which benefited over 28,000 youth, and the DEEL Initiative, which provided digital skills training to over 350,000 youth.
