MESSAGE TO HONOR OUR ARMED FORCES
Today, as we observe Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day, we stand in solemn remembrance of the brave men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation’s peace and unity. We also celebrate the dedication and valor of those still serving tirelessly to protect our sovereignty.
This day reminds us of the heroes of World War I, World War II, the Nigerian Civil War, and countless other missions that shaped our history. Their courage, resilience, and patriotism inspire us to strive for a better Nigeria.
Let us honor their legacy by fostering peace, unity, and progress in our communities and by supporting the families of the fallen as well as our active service members.
