Sowore: Tinubu Buys Jet, Bulletproof Car While Nigerians Suffer
Sowore criticizes Tinubu for purchasing a private jet and bulletproof car in one year, highlighting the ongoing suffering of Nigerians. Explore the controversy.
Despite not addressing the hardships of citizens, Omoyele Sowore, a former African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate has accused President Bola Tinubu of acquiring both a bulletproof vehicle and presidential jet within just one year in office.
According to Sowore, the focus of Nigerian leaders is more on satisfying their individual needs rather than tackling the difficulties encountered by the common people.
In a series of posts on his X page, the politician and activist asserted these claims.
Sowore stated that in spite of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s belief that a year is insufficient for Nigerians to experience an improved country, he managed to acquire a yacht, jet, bulletproof Escalade and VP mansion within the same period. #RevolutionNow

Bola Tinubu has finally launched his $150 million presidential jumbo jet as he heads to Paris. It seems that Nigerian rulers only find happiness in fulfilling their personal desires, indifferent towards the well-being of their people who they rule over.
Amid a contract dispute between the Nigerian government and Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited, a Chinese company, an accusation has surfaced regarding the revocation of the company’s export processing zone management contract by Ogun State Government in 2016.
A French court was sought by the Chinese enterprise, resulting in a directive to impound three aircraft owned by Nigeria’s government – one Dassault Falcon 7X, an Airbus A330-243 and a Boeing 737-7N6/BBJ.
The French court took charge of the dispute and instructed to impound all three jets, but Nigeria was able to retrieve one aircraft at a subsequent time.
The disagreement coincided with a countrywide demonstration for the suffering and deprivation prevalent in the nation.
During the protest, which was labeled #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria, protestors called for an amelioration of the country’s economic conditions and made other demands.
