Activist Omoyele Sowore has accused the Tinubu administration of purchasing a luxurious Airbus A330 presidential jet worth over $150 million, amidst the country’s economic challenges.
The jet, reportedly spotted in France with Nigerian tail registration, features a bedroom, office, conference and dining room, and airline-style seating. Sowore expressed outrage, stating that the acquisition was not budgeted for and that the government prioritized the jet over paying minimum wage to workers and providing affordable education.
He called for a revolution, urging citizens to fight against the perceived injustice. The presidential jet’s acquisition has sparked controversy, with many questioning the government’s priorities amidst economic hardship.
