…urge others to emulate
The Egalitarian Team, a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting equality and human capital development in Oyo State, has praised Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE) for his selfless support of SUBEB applicants.
Dr. Oladimeji, who is the Atayese of Olunloyo in Ona-Ara Local Government, provided free transportation for over 500 SUBEB applicants from Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the University of Ibadan DCL, CBT Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan, starting on Monday, July 22, 2024.
Bamiduro Damilare, the group’s Publicity Secretary, noted that the free bus initiative had a profound impact on the applicants, boosting their morale and confidence amid high transportation costs following the fuel subsidy removal last year.
“We commend Hon. Chief (Dr.) Temitope Oladimeji for this timely and effective gesture towards SUBEB candidates from Egbeda and Ona-Ara LGAs,” Damilare stated. “Dr. OTOPE’s longstanding commitment to human capital development across Ibadan land is well recognized, and this initiative is a testament to his dedication. His selfless actions should inspire politicians and philanthropists to prioritize service to humanity.”
Beneficiaries praised OTOPE’s gesture, saying it reduced their financial burden and allowed them to focus on the exam.
The Egalitarian Team urges others to emulate OTOPE’s example, prioritizing service to humanity and promoting human capital development in their communities.
