… Declared Zero Tolerance for Crime
The Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara LGA Hon Adesina Musibau Sanusi (SHABA) today 14th February, 2024 hosted an englarge Peace and Stakeholders security meeting at the council Hall, Akanran.
In his opening remark, Hon SHABA commended the efforts of the Security personnel in securing lives and properties in Ona-Ara Local Government.
The meeting which was necessary, especially at this crucial period land grabbing, kidnapping and illegal custody of explosives in the state.
The Chairman and the security agencies discussed the issues related to security of life and properties of the good people of Ona-Ara Local Government extensively.
The people of Ona-Ara were advised to be security conscious as well, as government is doing everything possible to ensure security of their lives and properties.
Others issues discussed are night robbing, thuggery acts, night clubbing among other social vices.
The Chairman then enjoyed all and sundry within the local government to report any suspicious Good or illegal miners especially at our towns and villages to the appropriate quarters.
In attendance were Stakeholders in the Local Government, Representatives of The Nigerian Police Force, Representatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Representatives of State Security Service (SSS), Representatives of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), National Orientation Agency(NOA), Amotekun Corps, Vigilante, Operation Burst, Ona Ara Police Community Relation Committee(PCRC), among others.
Community and religion leaders present at the meeting are Alararo of Araro Oba Mudasiru Obisesan, Alajia of Ajia, Onaniladun Of Laduntan Oba Kamorudeen, Baales, Ona-Ara CAN Chairman, Chief Imam of Ona-Ara, Babaloja and Iyaloja of Ona-Ara Local Government, the Head of Local Government Administration(HLGA) Dr. Atoyebi, Director Of Administration and General Services (DAGS) Mrs M.O Adekunle, Director Of Finance Mr Adebunmi I.A, Director Of Education and Social Services Alhaja Adenike Akande, the Information Officer Mrs Olagunju Kafayat among others among others.
