Primate Ayodele Predicts Power Shift, Mention ADC Coalition’s 2027 Presidential Candidate
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Church, has predicted that Atiku Abubakar will be the presidential candidate chosen by the newly formed anti-Tinubu coalition ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 elections.
In a video posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Ayodele ruled out key political figures such as Rotimi Amaechi and Nasir El-Rufai as potential flagbearers, asserting that Atiku would be the coalition’s choice—though he added that a “clause” exists, hinting that the outcome isn’t entirely guaranteed.
He said: “The coalition people are going to pick Atiku. Atiku is their candidate, not even El-Rufai, not even Amaechi or whoever. No. But there is a clause.” Primate Ayodele added: “It is not fully guaranteed that the ruling party (the All Progressives Congress, APC) can win. If they do not obey (my words), they can lose.”

Ayodele also warned that the ruling APC party could lose the 2027 election if they ignore spiritual guidance.
