On behalf of the Ona Ara Youth, we extend warm greetings and best wishes for a prosperous New Year to all stakeholders and the esteemed residents of Ona Ara Local Government. As we step into 2024, we express our gratitude for the unity and progress that define our community.
In a joint New Year message, signed by the heads of Ona Ara Youth Stakeholders, including Comrade Usman Badah (Coalition of Defence for Human Rights), Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon (Ona-ara Emergency Alert/YCYW), Engr. Fawole Ademola (Ona Ara Indigene Central Council), Miss Olabisi Muftau (Ona-ara Students Union), Comrade Akinbola Abeeb (ARSOYOC), Comrade Adebisi Adedayo (ARTISANS), and Omidan Olajumoke Oloyede (YCYW Ona Ara), we collectively look forward to a year of growth and shared achievements.
In a particular note of importance, the Oyo State Yoruba Youth Leader, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon, took the opportunity to remind the contractor responsible for the ongoing reconstruction of the main Olorunsogo to Dagbolu Road about the commitment made during a phone conversation on Christmas day. The contractor assured that the phase one of the project from Olorunsogo to Ariyo would be completed by 31st January. The Ona Ara Youth eagerly anticipate the timely fulfillment of this promise for the benefit of the community.
Additionally, as we enter the election year of 2024, there’s a call for discernment in choosing the right and productive chairmanship candidate among contestants from different political parties. The Ona Ara Youth emphasize the importance of selecting leadership that will prioritize the welfare and development of our Local Government.
May this New Year bring prosperity, unity, and progress to Ona Ara Local Government.
