The Directorate of Youth Mobilization in conjunction with LAUTECH SUG leads a peaceful walk tagged: “The Deserving Authority Walk”
It was a movement of the youth actors yesterday led by Makinde’s DG youth, hon. Salami Dikko as Omi tuntun 2.0 campaign train landed at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomosho.
Thousands of students joyfully welcomed his excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde to Ogbomoso and commended him for a giant stride towards the development of the state, particularly his developmental agenda in education sector which has made LAUTECH to be a strike-free institution.
The students and Ogbomoso residents appreciated the workaholic Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde for finding a lasting, holistic and sustainable solution to the sole ownership tussle of the institution that was on for years.
The students appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde FNSE for claiming the sole ownership of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) for Oyo state.
The campaign DG youth , Hon.Salami Dikko also paid a courtesy call to the vice chancellor of LAUTECH , Proffesor Liasu.
The vice chancellor of the institution, Professor Liasu gave the DG youth a warm reception.
In his remark , he lauded Governor Seyi makinde’s commitment towards Lautech staff and students welfare.
In his submission, he registered his undiluted support for Governor Seyi Makinde anyday, anytime.
Makinde’s DG youth, Hon . Salami Dikko, student Coordinators, Victor Olojede and his Co-coordinator, Oluwaseun Laurel with other youth actors, joined the student of Ladoke Akintola University for “The Deserving Authority Walk” in support of GSM re-election from Lautech to Oja Igbo.
Governor Seyi Makinde, noble stakeholders, students from the neighboring institutions, PDP party candidates, indegenes and residents of Ogbomosho participated in the walk.
