The Presidency, Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) Oyo State Chapter, under the vibrant leadership of Comrade Adeyemi Olagbenro (LEGACY), on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, hosted a memorable and impactful International Youth Day 2025 Celebration at the House of Chiefs, Oyo State House of Assembly Complex, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
One of the most remarkable highlights of the day was the presentation of ₦500,000 each to the top three best participants of the programme. This generous gesture was sponsored by one of Oyo State’s respected figures, Hon. Ojejide Adeniyi Adetoyese, who decided to reward the most outstanding audience contributions after the Guest Lecturer, Prof. Adeniyi Temitope, invited participants to share their thoughts.
The three young recipients whose brilliant and thought-provoking contributions stood out were:

Awodele Damilola Racheal
Adekunle Samuel Fiyinfoluwa
Their recognition not only came with financial empowerment but also served as a powerful motivation for other youths to step up and share impactful ideas.
The event drew a host of dignitaries and prominent personalities, including the representative of the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mrs. K.O. Mustapha, CEO of Kayromlee, Mrs. Romoke Ayinde, Amb. Sanjo Saka FELEFELE, Oke-Ogun Indigenous President, Dr. Ojedokun, and the representative of the Chairman, House of Assembly Service Commission, Mr. Durodola Olamide.
Also present were NYSC corps members, Man ‘O’ War, NYCN, Mrs. Bola Obarinde (LGI, NYSC Ibadan North Local Government), Youth For New Nigeria (YNN), Akinyele Youth Forum (AYF), Mr. Yusuf Oladele, along with several other notable figures whose presence added glamour and prestige to the celebration.
