Oyo: NAF To Collaborate With NSCDC For Better Security

The Nigerian Air Force has said there should be synergy between the agency and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to better protect the people of Oyo State.
Air Commodore Nasir Folaji of the Nigerian Air Force 671 Detachment, Ibadan said this when he visited the Oyo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC Command, Oyindamola Okuneye, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
The Air Force boss pledged the continued support of the security agency for NSCDC whom he described as a partner in progress.

He said, “Security of the nation is the duty of all security operatives, therefore there should be a synergy of efforts between the two security agencies.
“The security of Oyo State can only be achieved through persistent cooperation between the two agencies as it was done in the past.”
The State Commandant of the NSCDC, Michael Adaralewa, noted that the era of inter-agency rivalry was over as the common goal of the two agencies was the security of lives and properties of the people of Oyo State and the nation at large.
He stated further that the corps had improved in its activities through investment in training and retraining exercise implemented by the Commandant General of the Corps, Abubakar Ahmed.
