The girls’ basketball team of Onireke High School, Ibadan, has emerged champion of the Western Conference at the 2025 Nestlé Milo School Basketball Championship. With this impressive victory, they will represent Oyo State at the National Finals in Lagos, scheduled for June 20–27, 2025, at the Indoor Sports Hall, National Stadium, Surulere.
Their triumph in the regional conference held recently in Ibadan has been widely hailed as a testament to the growing strength of grassroots sports development in the state.
