The Immediate Past Special Assistant on Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency Matters, Hon. Adegboyega Akinlolu James, popularly known as Akin Oosa, has joined millions of indigenes at home and in the diaspora to celebrate Oyo State at 50, describing the milestone as a moment of deep reflection, pride, and renewed commitment to progress.
In a congratulatory message made available to Egalitarian Voice on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Akin Oosa congratulated the good people of Oyo State on the Golden Jubilee of the Pace Setter State, noting that the last five decades have been marked by resilience, cultural richness, and steady development.
He particularly commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, for organizing what he described as a well-coordinated, befitting, and symbolic celebration that reflects the heritage, achievements, and aspirations of the state.
