RESIGNATION LETTER FROM THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC)
Alhaji (Aare) Abeeb Idowu Balogun, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ward 12, Ibadan South West Local Government, Oyo State, has officially resigned from the party.
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Aare Balogun announced his defection from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Explaining his decision, he stated: “I have decided to join the PDP because I believe I will find succour and the true dividends of democracy there. I don’t need the broom again; give me the umbrella.”
