Oyo State Security Network codenamed AMOTEKUN CORPS has arrested two suspects named GANIYU MORUF ‘M’ 30years and BASHIR BASHIT ‘M’ 23years for unlawful possession of Human Heads at Isale-Yidi, Agunpopo Area, Oyo town in Atiba LGA of Oyo state.
The suspects were arraingned before the Magistrate court in Oyo town on 27th September, 2022.
The Prosecuting counsel for Amotekun Corps Bar. Osunolale S.A. confirmed that the suspects had committed felony which is contrary and punishable under section 329A of the Criminal Code, Cap 38, Vol. II, Laws of Oyo State 2000. Meanwhile, the counsel to the second Defendant solicited the indulgence of the Magistrate court to grant him bail on the provision of section 161 of the Criminal Code, Cap 38, Vol II, Laws of Oyo State which was opposed by the prosecuting counsel.

The suspects having failed to meet up with the bail condition of 2 sureties with (i) Landed properties with C of O, (ii) Tax clearance (III) Sum of #500,000 each in their respective bank account were remanded at the Abolongo Correctional Centre, Oyo pending the hearing of their case on 1st November, 2022.
