There is no contending the fact that Oyo state has been governed under various successive administrations , both under the military and democratic regime in the past and each leader privileged to have mounted the saddle has left either one legacy or the other that history has continued to refer .
However, the present administration under Governor Oluseyi Makinde has definitely assumed outstanding level of performance index , from every assessment , such that the most cynical find this to contend.
Though at the initial stages of indication to serve the good people of Oyo State as their governor , Engineer Seyi Makinde ‘s intention was greeted with such rejection from the opponents, on the ground that he had not occupied any public office before and as such, may not easily understand the rudiments. , but unexpectedly and surprisingly, the man lowly rated by his opponents has risen to be the best governor that ever ruled the affairs of the pacesetter state.
Governor Makinde has imprinted on the sands of history with outstanding achievements, which cut across all sectors in a most dramatic manner, such that Oyo state people are today worried about who comes after his reign in 2027 and sustain these level of performance, moreover, improving on other areas that deserve attention, for governance is a continuum.
The searchlight was beamed on Chief Dotun Sanusi “Ilaji”, who has till date, not shown any viscera like for politics, but derives his pleasure in making impacts through selfless services and humongous philanthropic gestures.
Albeit unexpectedly, Dotun Sanusi has drawn attention to himself unconsciously from the good people of Oyo State , who have tasted of good level of performance index from Engineer Oluseyi Makinde and will not want anything less from someone , who will take over the baton of leadership, after his definitely glorious exit from power as governor in 2027.
The reverberating calls , which have assumed frenetic dimension from all quarters unto Chief Dotun Sanusi for the herculean task ,was only borne out of strong desires by Oyo inhabitants to be served by another man with proven capacity, competence and vision laced in integrity and untainted past.
Like Governor Makinde himself, who did not occupy any public office before assumption of office, but awesomely demonstrated good display and understanding of the grasp of good governance, the Jagun Olubadan, Chief Dotun Sanusi himself is also an engineer, who has demonstrated his inherent leadership capacity, empathy, care for his people and super vision as aptly witnessed in his private establishment of successful business empire, that have put thousands of people into gainful employment.
The array of visionary display has easily placed Dotun Sanusi , as that perfect choice, with qualified capacity to sustain GSM legacies of projects and vision, that has placed Oyo State on the radar .
From the cacophony of voices and deepening trust, Dotun Sanusi is a man needed by Governor Makinde as good successor, to build on his record and create that pedestal for GSM ,that higher ascension to political ladder, perhaps as a future president in the annals.
As the calls continued to reverberate loudly, the need for Chief Dotun Sanusi to heed unto the collective will of the Oyo people is that, based on the genuine desire to have our dear state, taken further to greater heights by a man, whose track records has simply proven the obvious .
Without the slightest doubt, Chief Dotun Sanusi has possessed the most outstanding profile to justify this invitation to serve as Oyo State governor, dwelt in the good intention and progress for the pacesetter state.

Chief Dotun sanusi, will surely sustain the welfare of the workers and the pensioners, build more on infrastructure, create more employment, develop our sports and culture , standardize our education industry ,introduce more technological advancement as obtainable in the global arena and developed economies and, moreover increase the revenue generation of Oyo State economy , with the special focus on agricultural expansion , that will make Oyo State producers of farm inputs to exploit the population of Lagos state as the nearby market and invariably improve the state’s IGR base, alongside speedy and improved economy.
Governor Makinde is a visionary and brilliant man, who himself will not toy with whoever comes after , to succeed him , he will not endanger these volumes of achievements being subjected to being tampered with , he will desire in the innermost part of his heart , the man, who has the capacity and competence to sustain and even improve on these legacies of achievements , that have placed him in history as the best man, to have governed Oyo State and as such, Chief Dotun Sanusi stands that choice that possesses these credentials for the task.
The fervent prayers is that, invincible will of providence should allow him accept the invitation to serve and all factors work favourably in the journey to becoming our governor , come year 2027, for we all deserve to sustain these standard as delivered by Governor Makinde 8 years running, of quality governance , GSM has definitely raised the bar and we cant allow or accept anything less come year 2027.
