OYHA 2027: PDP Consensus Candidate Hon. Wale Ajala Appreciates Gov. Makinde, PDP Leaders in Ona-Ara LG, Vows to Restore Grassroots Power
A prominent chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Oyo State, Hon. Wale Ajala popularly known as IGBEGA ONA-ARA has formally accepted the PDP consensus candidacy for the Ona-Ara State Constituency, expressing deep appreciation for Governor Seyi Makinde’s statesmanship and the party’s transparent, rancor-free process.
In his acceptance statement, Ajala thanked the Governor for modeling internal democracy and praised fellow aspirants who stepped aside for the collective good—calling their sacrifice “an act of profound patriotism.” He also expressed gratitude to party leaders, elders, and grassroots supporters who worked tirelessly to achieve consensus.
Ajala framed his candidacy as a covenant with the people, promising “Restorative Representation” to uplift farmers, traders, and youth across all eleven wards.
