The Director-General Liaison office for Abuja and Lagos, Hon Chief (Dr) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji popularly known as OTOPE, a renowned philanthropist and education enthusiast, was the star of the show at the Ona-Ara Teacher’s House commissioning ceremony. The event, which took place on Friday, 22nd November 2024, was attended by teachers, dignitaries, and stakeholders in the education sector.
In his open remarks, the NUT chairman in Ona-Ara, com-Adewale Azeez, emphasized that Otope’s unwavering support for the project is obviously the result of the ceremony.
Adewale praised O’tope’s contributions to the education community, especially on the renovation and completion of the teacher’s house. Otope dedication to the cause is highly recognised, and his passion for education shone brightly. Said Com-Adewale.
“We are forever grateful for Otope’s support and commitment to our cause,” said Com-Adewale Azeez, Chairman of the NUT Ona-Ara branch. “His contributions have made a tangible difference in our lives, and we are thrilled to have him as a partner in our quest for quality education.”
The Ona-Ara Teacher’s House is a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hub for teacher development, training, and community engagement. The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the NUT Ona-Ara branch, the local government, and Otope Foundation.
