The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) family in Ona-Ara Local Government joyfully announces the election of Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo as the new Party Chairman. His emergence was greeted with excitement and celebration among party leaders, members, and stakeholders, who see his leadership as a fresh opportunity to strengthen unity and reposition the party for greater success.

Mufutau Olatunde Ogunremi, the Presiding Officer of the Congress in Ona-Ara LG, in the presence of respected PDP leaders, including the Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Fadeyi; Alh. Hakeem Taiwo Oke; Hon. Wale Ajala; Hon. Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), ably represented by his Personal Assistant, Hon. Idris Gbedeogun; Hon. Akande Ifeoluwa-Ona-Ara; Executive Chairman Ona-Ara LG, Dr. Kolapo Temitope-GLORIOUS; Hon. Seye Gbaroye (OMO WA), among other prominent stakeholders.
The LG Congress, which held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at NUT Hall, Aba-Emu, off Amuloko Road, Ibadan, was described as peaceful, transparent, and successful by the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) Electoral Officer for Ona-Ara LG, Pastor Adekanmbi Timileyin Joshua, alongside his assistant, Mr. Azeez Ademola Tajudeen.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and members of the PDP for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged his total loyalty to the party’s ideals and assured members of his commitment to fostering unity, promoting inclusiveness, and leading Ona-Ara PDP to greater victories.
