Omituntun 2.0: Makinde declares winning with One Million Votes in Egbeda LGA as Youths, Market leaders, residents of Egbeda assure landside victory, Dikko reveals

Oyo State Governor’s campaign rally held at Egbeda Local Government on Friday 20th January, 2023 for the continuation of the Omituntun 2.0 campaigns was a successful outing.

The Director General For Youth Mobilisation for Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election, Hon. Salami Ibraheem Oladeji (DIKKO) described the campaign as one of the best so far as thousands of party faithfuls in Egbeda Local Government, religious leaders, pensioners, Gbagi Youths, Monatan, Erunmu, Airport-Alakia, market leaders among Others welcome his Excellency Engr. D.Sc Seyi Makinde FNSE to Egbeda L.G with singing and praising Governor Makinde for the good job he’s doing so far.

In his address to all the residents of Egbeda Local Government, Governor Makinde expressed his appreciation to all and sundry for their support in the ongoing Omituntun 1.0. He named the Alakia Airport campaign ground the Freedom Park and he promised to commission it within six months from now.

Governor Makinde also approved the appointment of Egbeda Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) leader, Revd. Oyekunle as the Chairman “Oyo State Rural Electrification Board” as promised the good people of Igboora few weeks ago during his official campaign flag-off.

While addressing the people of Erunmu, he reiterated the approval of two months salary deductions out of five months for workers in the state to be paid in some days time.

While speaking with the newsmen, Hon. Salami said, Governor Makinde also reminded the good people of Egbeda how the last administration treated the pensioners in the state but his governance approach as cater more for them and even make an history by approving the payment of Christmas Bonus for all pensioners in the state in a token of #10,000 each for Chicken.

He assured the people that, the newly metropolitan Adogba central mosque financed with his personal fund will be commissioned and dedicated to God and use of humanity in two weeks time and promised to complete the abandoned Al-Haqdeen International Islamic center Mosque in olodo as requested by the founder, Khalifah Sheik Dhikrillahi.

Speaking further, Hon. Dikko declared that under one Month of Makinde’s administration, he was able to implement four years promotion arrears of civil servants as well paid all their outstanding three years leave bonus the previous Government could not achieve in their eight years of maladministration.

In Makinde’s words, “I Am here today promising you again that Erunmu To Egbeda Road will be Implemented in Omituntun 2.0 and my target is One Million Votes which I believe you all will make it happen”.

While seeking the youth votes for Governor Makinde, the director of youth Mobilisation, Hon Dikko urged all the youths and students in Egbeda to support the Omituntun 2.0 as it’s going to be another prosperous and rewarding four years for all in the state.

Hon. Dikko also charged the residents to campaign through the nooks and crannies of the state for the Omituntun 2.0 actualization and reminded the youths again of their mandate to deliver 500,000 votes for Makinde in the forthcoming governorship election.
