NYC Oyo State Leadership Engages Amofin Beulah Adeoye, Seeks Strategic Partnership for Youth and State Progress

The leadership of the Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Oyo State Chapter, has paid a courtesy visit to Amofin Beulah Adeoye, President of the Beulah Foundation and respected legal practitioner from Itesiwaju Local Government, Oke-Ogun, Oyo State. The visit, led by the State Chairman, Comrade Abdulfatai Adeyemi (LEGACY), focused on strengthening collaboration for youth empowerment and sustainable development in Oyo State.

During the engagement, Comrade Adeyemi commended Amofin Adeoye’s visionary leadership and exceptional understanding of key socio-economic issues affecting the state. He noted that Amofin’s insights and openness to dialogue created a productive atmosphere for discussing critical areas such as youth empowerment and skills development, job creation, community-based interventions, peace-building, and collaboration on NYC’s upcoming Youth Leadership Lecture Series and Heroes Award 2025, scheduled for 30th December 2025 at the House of Chiefs, Oyo State House of Assembly Complex, Agodi, Ibadan.

In his remarks, Amofin Beulah Adeoye expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to youth development, economic expansion, education, healthcare improvement, and inclusive governance. He also reiterated his readiness, God willing, to offer himself for service in the 2027 Oyo State Governorship Election, pledging a leadership style rooted in fairness, accountability, and innovation.

He further highlighted his longstanding contributions to community development through the Beulah Foundation, which has implemented various empowerment programmes for youths, women, and underserved communities across Oyo State.

The visit underscores the NYC’s commitment to partnering with credible and visionary leaders to advance youth participation and accelerate development initiatives across the state.
The Nigerian Youth Congress, established in 1960 and recognised by the Federal Government, coordinates and regulates youth associations nationwide under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Students Affairs. The Oyo State Chapter, under the leadership of Comrade Adeyemi, remains dedicated to addressing the needs of young people and promoting active citizenship.
