NYC Oyo State Chapter Commiserates with Kogi State Chairman, Comrade Alfa Ebune, on the Passing of His Wife
The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Oyo State Chapter, has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to Comrade Alfa Ebune, State Chairman of the Nigerian Youth Congress, Kogi State Chapter, over the death of his beloved wife.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the Oyo State Chapter described the tragic loss as one that has sent waves of grief across the youth constituency and beyond — a stark reminder of the fragility and transient nature of life.
The late Mrs. Ebune was hailed as a woman of virtue, humility, and resilience, whose life was marked by compassion, integrity, and service to humanity. Her passing, the statement noted, has created an irreplaceable void within the family and community, robbing society of a shining example of dedication and kindness.
Speaking on behalf of the Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Akinlabi Segun, Director of Media and Publicity, conveyed the organisation’s solidarity with the Kogi State Chapter during this difficult time. He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to offering prayers, emotional support, and collective strength as Comrade Ebune and his family navigate this painful period.
“We share deeply in Comrade Ebune’s grief and pray that the Almighty grants him and his family the fortitude to bear this loss,” the statement reads in part. “May the departed soul rest in perfect peace, and may her legacy of love and service continue to inspire generations to come.”
