The President of the Senate of the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), Comrade Oyewumi Festus Ayomide, has called on all Polytechnic students in Ibadan North Federal Constituency to come out in their numbers tomorrow, Saturday, 16th August, and vote massively for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON), in the House of Representatives by-election.
Comrade Oyewumi Festus Ayomide described Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) as a student-friendly leader whose agenda prioritises educational advancement, youth empowerment, and policies that will directly improve the welfare of the masses in Ibadan North. He noted that DON has consistently shown commitment to providing better learning environments, vocational support for young people, and initiatives that will uplift communities across the constituency.
“August 16th is a Done Deal for DON,” Comrade Festus declared confidently, adding that the PDP candidate represents a fresh opportunity to bring quality representation, practical solutions, and people-oriented development to Ibadan North.
He emphasised that a vote for PDP and Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle is a vote for better schools, stronger community support systems, improved infrastructure, and fair opportunities for both students and residents.
