“My Sympathy to Dr. Yinka Ayefele and Fresh FM” —BASA
It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest sympathy to Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON), the management, staff, and listeners of Fresh FM, Ibadan, over the unfortunate fire outbreak that recently occurred at the station.
Fresh FM has, over the years, been a beacon of truth, accountability, and public service for the people of Oyo State and beyond. This sad incident is not only a setback to the station but also to the community it faithfully serves.

While I am grateful to God that no lives were lost, I cannot ignore the fact that this damage could have been minimized if our fire station at Scout Camp, Ibadan, had been fully operational. I therefore call on the Oyo State Government to urgently rehabilitate and properly equip the fire station to prevent such tragedies in the future.

At times like this, we are reminded that the safety of lives, property, and vital infrastructure must remain a priority. My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Yinka Ayefele, the entire Fresh FM family, and their loyal listeners. I believe strongly that the station will recover quickly and continue to serve as a trusted voice for our people.

Honourable Bolanle Sarumi Aliyu (BASA)
