The convener of OOSE SEYI MOVEMENT VOLUNTEERS (OSM), Hon Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez Popularly known as Ijoba Authority Moe’ has assured the citizens of Oyo State that the second term of Engr. Seyi Makinde will brings more prosperous into the state.

According to him, “its no gain says that Governor Makinde is fixing the Oyo State into global market, an opportunity to benefit the future generations. 

“Seyi Makinde is a renowned engineer who only chose to run for the seat of Governor just to bring the dividends of democracy to all the good people of Oyo State, restoring the missing character faced by the people towards the government in Trust deficit.

Going to four years now in piloting the affairs of the state without any god-fatherism input, Seyi Makinde’s achievements as the Executive Governor of Oyo State has not only put his critics to shame, it has shown to the masses that good governance is achievable in Nigeria politics via good policies , programmes and creating a productive enabling environment.

Governor Makinde first term achievements in office are numerous such as the industrialization and investors driven programs like the circular road project, the second largest in Nigeria 110km, Ilu-tuntun in Akinyele local government.

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria on Industrial Gas generation situated in Oluyole Local Government where major industrialization occurs in the state, 11MW IPP project ongoing inside the Secretariat, Ibadan Cargo Airport, re-awarded project of Agbowo Shopping complex in Ibadan North, the remaining additional two metropolitan giant Terminal bus complex ongoing in the city of Ibadan in between Egbeda and Ibadan North East Local Government respectively.

Oyo-Iseyin road with extension to Kishi, Igbeti in Olorunsogo local Government, Ijio new construction of road in Iwajowa Local Government, empowering of security personnel in the state by providing more than two(200) hundreds vehicles to them and reviving the SRS unit, regular payments of salary to the standard i.e full minimum wage in Omituntun 2.0 and pension till date, among many laudable achievements so far and more to come.

Continuing, the foundation laying of GSM in his first term of distinctive administration seems like a bamboo tree growth, hence why we can’t imagine how great investors are going to be attracted into Oyo state, more grants to be given, support mechanisms/system to cushion the positive outcome effect on Sustainable Development Vision under OMITUNTUN 2.0 and putting economy of the state in a well prosperous Global market.

Our noisy neighbours may be taken aback seeing Oyo state become the headquarter of South West economic growth, development and tourism, energy generation among other states in Nigeria.
