As Muslims across the globe commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), former Governorship Candidate and grassroots mobiliser, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi (BASA), has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community in Oyo State, Nigeria, and worldwide.
In her goodwill message, BASA urged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s exemplary life and teachings, which emphasise love, justice, equality, compassion, and peaceful coexistence. She noted that Mawlid Al-Nabi is not only a time of celebration but also an opportunity for spiritual renewal and a recommitment to values that strengthen families, communities, and nations.

She further prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria, while urging everyone to embrace forgiveness, mutual respect, and service to humanity as true reflections of the Prophet’s legacy.
Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi concluded by wishing Muslims a joyful and peaceful celebration. “May the blessings of the Prophet be upon us all, and may his teachings continue to inspire us towards building a just, united, and prosperous society.”
