Massive FCT Turnout: Fayose Makes Shocking Comments About Peter Obi 2027 Presidential Bid

Popular internet personality, Isaac Fayose, has declared that the 2027 presidential election will centre entirely on former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi.
Fayose made the statement on Thursday while reacting to the large crowd that turned out for Obi during the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council election campaign.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, Fayose described the turnout as a clear indication of Obi’s growing political influence, insisting that the former governor remains the preferred choice for many Nigerians ahead of the next general election.
“Humongous crowd turns out for Peter Obi during FCT council poll campaign. It’s PETER OBI or nothing. E go loud,” Fayose wrote.
Peter Obi was in the FCT on Monday to campaign for candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) contesting the Area Council elections. During the exercise, he visited several locations, where he addressed supporters and party faithful.
Speaking at the campaign events, Obi said his involvement was driven by the need to connect directly with grassroots communities and promote leadership based on service, accountability and people-focused governance.
According to him, strong and responsible leadership at the local government level is essential for building a responsive and effective democratic system.
The massive turnout at the FCT campaign has continued to spark conversations within political circles, with Obi’s supporters viewing it as an early indication of what the 2027 presidential race may look like.
