The Immediate Past Special Assistant on Egbeda/Onaara Federal Constituency to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Adegboyega Akinlolu James, popularly known as AKIN OOSA, has congratulated and warmly welcomed former Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, into the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement issued on Thursday, AKIN OOSA described Adekanmbi’s defection as “a significant political gain and a reflection of the growing confidence in the PDP’s leadership at both the state and local levels.”
He noted that Adekanmbi’s wealth of experience in public finance and governance would further strengthen the party’s capacity and strategic depth within Egbeda/Ona-Ara and across Oyo State.
“Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi is a brilliant mind, a technocrat of high repute, and a respected political actor. His decision to join the PDP is a welcome development that reinforces our party’s credibility and appeal,” AKIN OOSA stated.
