The Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Mr. Williams Akin-Funmilayo, made this announcement on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. He emphasized that individuals can now obtain their “Provisional Letter of Allocation on State Land” through the Ministry’s improved digital allocation platform.

However, with the innovation of including computerized generated letter of allocation with QR code on State land gives an assurance on it’s safety, security and genuity that can be verified anytime any day anywhere from ones comfort zone without any contradiction or confusion.

The new digital platform offers numerous benefits, including:

1. Elimination of Double Allocation: No more worries about government land being allocated to multiple individuals.

2. Authentication of Allocation Letters: QR codes on allocation letters ensure authenticity and can be verified anytime, anywhere.

4. Easy Reference and Reporting: A more streamlined process for tracking and managing land allocations.

5. Robust Database: A centralized database for GRA lands allottees, making it easier to manage and track allocations.
