Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has officially renamed The Polytechnic Ibadan to Omololu Olunloyo Polytechnic, Ibadan, in honour of the institution’s pioneer rector and former Governor of the old Oyo State, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo.
According to Egalitarian Voice, the announcement was made during a commendation service held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan, in honour of the late mathematician and statesman.
