List Of Public Holidays To Expect In Nigeria Between December 2024 And January 2025

Public holidays are always a time to look forward to for many people as they provide the opportunity for much-needed rest and the opportunity to socialize with friends and family members.

A public holiday is a day when most people in a country do not go to work or school, and is observed to commemorate a significant event or tradition. Public holidays can vary by country and are based on cultural, historical, religious, or national significance.

A knowledge of the public holidays would assist individuals to plan and spend the holidays effectively.

National public holidays are declared and communicated to the public by the Ministry of Interior.
