A former Governorship Candidate of Oyo State, former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Diaspora Affairs to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Former Special Assistant on Social Development to the Former Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory and Academy Director, shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs and professionals has implored the Christian communities across Nigeria as they begin the Lenten season today, Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, to pray for Nigeria’s growth, development, progress, economic prosperity and peace.
In a statement, BASA described the Lenten season as a period of spiritual reflection, moral renewal, and supplication to God. She emphasized the need for collective prayer to address the current challenges inherent in the country.
“As we begin this sacred period today, I implore all Christians and, indeed, all Nigerians, to join hands in prayer for our beloved nation,” BASA said. “We must pray for divine guidance, wisdom, and protection for our leaders and for peace, unity, and prosperity to reign supreme in our land.”
BASA extended a warm greeting to Nigerians, especially the good people of Oyo State, wishing them a peaceful and successful Lenten season.
“We pray that the Almighty God will grants our leaders wisdom, courage, and compassion as they serve the people,” BASA added.
