IDPWD: Makinde’s DCOS, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka (Bibire), Celebrates Persons With Disabilities, Calls for Greater Love, Inclusion

Makinde’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka (Bibire), has joined millions across the globe to commemorate the International Day of Persons With Disabilities (IDPWD), calling for deeper love, inclusion, and societal support for people with disabilities.

In a statement on Tuesday, Bibire expressed profound admiration for the strength, resilience, and positivity persons with disabilities consistently demonstrate within their homes, communities, and across Oyo State.

“I celebrate them for the love they radiate, the perseverance they embody, and the joy they bring to our society,” he said. “They are an essential part of us, and I love them dearly. This is why I celebrate with them every year, and I will continue to associate with them. They are meant to be loved.”

Bibire also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for championing an inclusive governance model that ensures persons with disabilities are not sidelined in policy formulation, welfare programs, and state development initiatives.

“Governor Makinde has shown true leadership by ensuring that persons with disabilities are not left behind,” he noted. “Through his people-centered policies, accessible governance approach, and inclusive mindset, he has made it clear that every resident of Oyo State matters. His administration listens to them, engages them, and provides avenues for their voices to be heard.”

He urged the public to emulate Governor Makinde’s example by extending love, respect, and continuous support to persons with disabilities, stressing that the true measure of a progressive society lies in how it treats its most vulnerable members.

Bibire reaffirmed his personal commitment—and that of the administration—to build an Oyo State where everyone, regardless of physical or mental ability, can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and live with dignity.
