Nigeria’s Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has made a shocking revelation that a Minister in country’s Federal cabinet has no office space to operate from, as where she currently occupied has been allocated to other Ministries, with no alternative provision made to accommodate her office.

Nkeiruka Onyejeocha let the cat out of the bag when she accompanied the Minister of Labour and Employment, Mohammed Dingyadi, to inspect ongoing work on the 7-storey building seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), from a convicted corrupt public official and handed over to the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
The NDE has been occupying a rented apartment in the Wuse Zone 1 area of Abuja in the last 30 years.
The NDE Director General appealed to the Ministers to mount pressure for quick release of funds to enable the completion of works on the office complex.
The NDE is a parastatal in the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
