Egalitarian Voice reports that Governor Seyi Makinde has sanctioned the appointment of three new Executive Secretaries for the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB).

The announcement was made on Wednesday, February 12th, by OYOSUBEB Chairman, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, during a meeting with Administrative Officers from all Local Government Universal Basic Education Authorities (LGUBEAs) at the Board’s headquarters in Ibadan.
Dr. Adeniran revealed that Dr. Kemi Adeosun, Dr. Adebola Ayegboyin, and Mr. Raji Fatai were handpicked by Governor Makinde to oversee the Board’s activities across the three senatorial districts in the state.
Highlighting their qualifications, Adeniran noted that the appointees are seasoned education professionals and champions of good governance. Their selection followed the successful completion of the required examinations, alongside newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.

These new Executive Secretaries bring extensive experience from various roles within the education sector,” Adeniran stated.

He further explained that the new officials will work closely with the Board and the current Executive Secretary, Mrs. Olaide Ladipo, at the headquarters. Emphasizing the need for transparency and efficiency, Adeniran urged the appointees to uphold OYOSUBEB’s mission of advancing basic education throughout Oyo State.
