The Chairman of the Ona-Ara Local Government Transition Committee and Director-General of the Governorship Campaign in Ona-Ara, Hon. Wale Ajala, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Muslims across Ona-Ara, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement released on Thursday in Ibadan, Hon. Ajala urged Muslim faithful to use the festive occasion to offer sincere prayers to Almighty Allah for peace, unity, and progress in the country. He stressed the importance of practicing the core values of the Eid, which include sacrifice, selflessness, and compassion.
“Eid-el-Kabir is not just a celebration—it is a call to live out our faith through acts of charity, peaceful coexistence, obedience to the teachings of the Holy Books, and kindness toward the less privileged,” he stated.
