A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Oyo State, Hon Ifeoluwa Akande Egbeda has congratulated Hon Oyedele Sikiru Sanda—Lajue as he is been re-elected as the Chairman of Egbeda local government.
It could be recalled that local governments election were held across Oyo state on Saturday, 27th of April which the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has described as a huge success.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, Ifeoluwa rejoices with the chairman, his vice and all the councillors from the ten wards wishing them successful tenure in office.
He equally commended Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for given the state electoral commission all it needed to conduct free and fair election.
Oyedele Sikiru Sanda, who received resounding support across the ten wards of the local government area, had centered his aggressive campaign on community development, empowerment of students and creation of jobs opportunities to teeming youths.
Voters responded favourably to his message of inclusive governance and his dedication to tackling the urgent issues facing the local government, which resulted in a record turnout at the polls.
His victory as the Executive Chairman elect for the second term was solidified when the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) announced the election results, which demonstrated his overwhelming support and acceptability over his closest rivals.

“People have spoken with their votes loud and clear. Your hardwork, selfless service and contribution to humanity earns you this resounding victory. Am wishing you more achievements in the office as our chairman. May your future aspiration be blessed”, Ifeoluwa prayed.
Hon Ifeoluwa Akande Egbeda is a two times House of Assembly Aspirant in Egbeda and he is the Director-General Campaign for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde.
